Warriors for Christ ministry has been active on local, national, and international levels. WFC has collaborated with churches, political representatives, community and civic centers, and various individuals. Warriors for Christ collaborated with Houston Praise and Worship Center Back-to-School Program. The ministry has also partnered national health organizations that focus on minority health and May 2002 they participated in Women’s Health Month. In 2003, Warriors had the opportunity to travel to Kampala, Uganda, East Africa as guest speaker for a two (2) week Women’s Conference. In 2005 and 2006, the ministry wrote a grant to Office Depot on behalf of the participating organization and received 200 backpacks for children in the Third Ward housing development. From the beginning of the ministry to present, WFC has reached over 350,000 families in Houston and surrounding areas through several media outlets (radio, print, and internet). WFC is a community conscious faith-based organization and its purpose is to renew, restore, and rebuild lives for the betterment of the individual and their community. The organization is focused on empowering others to reach their full potential in life. The ministry sponsored several retreats, Galveston conferences, self development classes, health fairs, community awareness events and honoring women and men in ministry and community service. We are blessed to have non-profit status and affiliates of Warriors Outreach Center. Over the 10 years in ministry we have been blessed and have been a blessing to others in prayer, assisting individuals in paying bills, and a referral system
