😴 Consistency is key!! 😴

Eating a 🥝 here and there will not help you sleep better at night. In research, participants eat one of these foods daily for several weeks and report either longer sleep nights, less disturbances, and/or feeling more rested in the morning. 😁

And here’s why 👇

🍒 Tart cherry juice - very high concentration of melatonin that can help promote healthy sleep

🥝 Kiwi - high antioxidant, serotonin, and folate content likely the reason eating 2/day before bed can improve sleep quality

🐟 Fatty fish - good source of vitamin d & omega 3 fatty acid which are both important for the regulation of serotonin which is converted to melatonin

💤Walnuts - high content of melatonin and polyphenols

🛌 Pumpkin seeds - high magnesium content helps to regulate circadian rhythm and help you relax

Honor yourself, your body, and let go of feeling guilty when you tell someone no.

We all have things we don’t wanna do but most of those thing we don’t even HAVE to do them.

During the holidays, travel, family gatherings, and FOOD can trigger a butt load of emotions and stress. Try not to let the people-pleaser in you cost you your mental (and digestive) health.
