Sherrain Myles’ most pertinent caregiving role outside of parenting was being the primary caregiver for her ailing grandmother. While Sherrain has a successful career in healthcare sales, and has dedicated her time and efforts to assisting vulnerable family members and their support systems with obtaining the appropriate level of care, professional experiences had not prepared her for the personal journey of caregiving. In The Appointment, readers are given a candid glimpse into the abrupt changes that occur during caregiving. Sherrain received a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma and is a native of Denison, Texas. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc and resides in Grand Prairie, Texas with her husband, daughter, and son.

And right when she no longer cared what others thought. the opportunity to begin writing showed up. Writing about her childhood trauma has opened up the teacher within. She currently teaches Naturopathic Reiki and she looks forward to writing many more books and Master classes. She is a proud native Houstonian and mother of two adult children.

Koinonia I. Martin-Page first learned the power of sharing our stories from her mother during testimony service in the Black Church tradition. She credits that power with helping her to forge her path from her beginnings as a Head Start program student to being a first-generation college graduate of the Ivy League. She has gone on to use her skills to advocate and build community, as a licensed attorney, attorney-broker, philanthropist, and public servant. She most cherishes spending time with her three sons, Jesse, Zachary, and Jude, and her husband, Ben.

Julie Jones-Butler grew up in Louisiana. She is a beloved daughter of God, wife, mother, Pastor’s wife and an entrepreneur. She and her husband, Jimmy, live in Texas with their beloved son. Julie has a BS in Biblical Counseling in Religious Studies from GMOR (Gospel Ministry Out Reach). Before taking the big leap of faith in writing, she always loved reading as a child, which influenced her interest in writing her stories and her truths. She says that this writing experience has been fulfilling and has allowed her to heal on different levels of her personal and professional life. She believes that when you write your stories, goals and truths on paper, they will come to pass, and that writing truly is medicine to your soul

She is a mother of four children and a grandmother of seven beautiful grandchildren. Her dream had always been to write a book about her life’s journey in order to help others, and this experience was a dream come true. She models what it truly means to cover your family in prayer, something she learned from her own mother before her passing. Katherine’s nurturing extends beyond her family and loved ones to the elderly she works with as a private-duty caregiver and her work in ministry as a Staff Pastor. Katherine also owns her own personal accessories business, Kathy’s Bling Shop and can be found praying for customers during her live online broadcasts.
