Now that the weather is finally cooling off in Houston, we think it’s the perfect time to do a fall craft. This one was featured in our most recent newsletter and is very simple to accomplish with the following materials: construction paper, a paper plate, glue stick, scissors and ribbon. Instructions are as follows: 1) Cut the center out of a paper plate, leaving only the outer ring to act as the wreath base. 2) From the construction paper, have your child cut out leaf shapes in various fall colors. No construction paper? No problem, simply grab some leaves from your backyard! 3) Glue the leaves around the edge of the paper plate, overlapped them as you go. 4) Once the wreath is full, you can attach a ribbon to the top for hanging. Happy fall and happy crafting y’all!

Congrats to our North Clinic patient Stephanie on providing her own testimony for a fair hearing to receive her therapeutic services! Stephanie testified in her own fair hearing and helped advocate for herself to continue to get physical therapy services after the insurance company was trying to deny her further services. Her testimony went before the state’s fair hearing officer and medical director of the health plan who was trying to deny her. We are so proud of her bravery and the privilege of continuing to get to work with her! Way to go Stephanie 🎉
