Bitter or better? It is really a choice? I say, it depends on you and how you look at it. Look at Mary J. Blige and Keyshia Cole.

They've made a living marketing their misery. Besides, being bitter gets you attention. Maybe not the kind of attention you'd like but attention nonetheless.

Whereas being better forces you to do the work, change your behavior, and hold yourself accountable. Which as we know isn't easy or fun. Is it worth it? If you want to be better, than yes. Begin bitter may get you attention but, it can also push people away, allow resentments to grow, and you can become a prisoner of your past.
