The Housing and Community Resource Center -HCRC HRC The Housing and Community Resource Center is a service of the Harris County Community Services Department and a part of the Outreach & Engagement Section.

The HCRC offfers information on affordable housing and community resources. Information is created and updated in partnership with government, non-profit and community organizations on the following:

Down payment assistance programs
Foreclosure prevention
Specialized rental housing
Emergency financial assistance with rent or utilities
Emergency shelters
Transitional housing
Home Repair for seniors and those with documented disabilities
Case management
Veterans services
Non emergency medical transportation
Disaster Recovery Assistance
Other community resources
