I now work at Next Level Urgent Care in Sugar Land and am available to take care of your acute illnesses and injuries. I typically work on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as some weekend days. I hope that you stay well during this bad flu season, but if you get sick, come and see me!

I am currently in Philadelphia training for a health care consulting job that I will be able to do part-time from home. I am sad to be temporarily leaving clinical medicine, but I am looking forward to a change of pace and being able to spend more time with my family. I anticipate practicing medicine again in the Sugar Land area sometime in the future and will update here as I make decisions.

Many of you are already aware that I am leaving OakBend Medical Group. April 4 will my last official day. My current plan is to spend some time at home with my family, but I will likely work in the Sugar Land area again in the future. I will post updates on my page as I make my future plans. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Call the office to schedule an appointment for your well woman exam and to get an order for your mammogram. If you have a family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer, ask me about genetic testing to determine if you are at extra high risk for these cancers.
