My introverted side is so happy! Because, today after who knows how many markets, I’ve finally figured out the easiest way to get my tent up, on my own! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The tent I use doesn’t have a push up center. (One of my many regrets. Lol) So, I ended up using a bungee cord and attached it to my car and tent so I could spread the tent out as much as possible. And then moved it to where it needed to be! And pushed it up from there.
Always looking for ways to make setting up easier!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ll be making a video,soon!

As the year comes to a close, I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve learned at market. Today I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned about packing for market! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Bring water. 🥵 Summers are tough in Texas. But also setting up is a work out. Especially if you have a lot of items or are alone. And water is life so come prepared!⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Anything collapsible or foldable is going to save you TONS of space. For my set up I use Origami foldable shelves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Bring your tent weights! And weigh down the things you can’t afford to fly away or break. I put marbles in my coffee mugs. The wind is not your friend. I’ve been fortunate and haven’t had any accidents but I’ve heard the horror stories.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Make a list of your supplies if you are forgetful like me. Or keep everything in one place so you always remember to bring whatever you’re bringing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Invest in some type of point of sale system to bring, people love being able to pay with their cards.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Portable power stations are amazing! I use one to power and charge my electronics.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•A fan! As I mentioned I’m in Texas, so I’m sure y’all can imagine how hot it gets in the summer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•A Wagon to haul your items back and forth if need be.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•A comfortable chair. I realize that many say if you’re sitting you’re not making money. 🙄 Well, I’m sure none of those people have sciatica. Lol So being able to sit, is a must for me. Especially after I finish unpacking. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Signage is important too. Many shoppers won’t ask questions, so signs and visible pricing makes it, so they don’t have to.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Lastly, bring a smile. These last few years have been long and hard but a first impression is a lasting one. The connection you can make with a smile may be worth more than you’ll ever know.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s to hoping we all have profitable, brilliant market days!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Happy Holidays, y’all! 🤠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My Story

  • There is something therapeutic about crafting. From a very young age I would paint, draw and glue things together. It was in High School that I got my first taste of making things for other people. I would draw cartoon characters and then paint them for my classmates. Even then I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the happiness I could bring others through my work. Fast forward a few years, a husband and two kids later, I decided to make my first shirt. There was no going back after that. I've since then branched into making all kinds of custom items. And I want to be the business that helps you create custom apparel and accessories for every event and special moment in your life. Because I love what I do and who I do it for.
