Memories like this is what keeps me unemployable. I just don’t have it in me to play the “5 star spa therapist” role anymore.

Nowadays, i follow my heart. I’m far from perfect, but i know that i am far too special to be holed up in a small windowless room all day.

Believe it or not, I was really never good at magic tricks.

Sometimes, chronic conditions can take a few sessions to resolve. Other times, it can be a one and done, it really depends on your body and how much you can improve.

Either way, massage can always help and improve tight muscles, tension, stress, and pain. Just keep it realistic.

This is 80% of why i love my job.

Seriously!

I love releasing muscles, or releasing “trigger points”. It’s super satisfying and it’s an immediate difference afterwards.

Now, i call this technique, spicy. It should be mildly uncomfortable for a moment, but afterwards the area is relaxed and at ease.

I can also get this kind of response with light-medium pressure. All it takes is patience, technique, and intuition.

The shoulders and neck are the number one issue i have come across in the past 8 years. And it makes perfect sense for the lives we live nowadays.

Sometimes, when upper back muscles are tensed for long periods of time they create a slouched, uncomfortable, and uneven look to your shoulders. Most of the time i can tell the moment i see a client in person.

So go ahead and book that massage. You’re probably reading this with bad posture anyways. 🤪

You know what I’m talking about. It’s can be shooting pain, dull or achey, and it comes from a very awkward place, your glutes.

If trying to hit that August deadline got you glued to your crappy office chair, or that impending 5k has ran you ragged -hip pain, glute pain, or Sciatica are all things i work with on a regular basis.

Massage can be an effective long term solution to getting rid of that pain in your ass. It’s not awkward, but it will push you to your threshold. And not to worry, even if you don’t enjoy heavy pressure, i can still make magic happen!
