This Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for the heart of The Rose: our dedicated staff.

Every screening, every diagnosis, every life saved begins with your commitment to care. You show up with compassion, skill, and purpose, and you do it for the women who need us most.

Because of you, hope reaches rural communities. Diagnoses come with dignity. And care never stops at the door.

Thank you for being the hands and hearts behind our mission: saving lives through quality breast health care for all.

Happy Thanksgiving. 🧡

GivingTuesday is just around the corner, and we’re inviting you to be part of something truly life changing. Your support saves lives every single day.

Every $250 raised provides one uninsured woman with a screening mammogram, showing that your gift creates a lasting impact.

Our patients remind us why this work matters. Women who receive their first mammogram on our mobile coach, or those who find their cancer early because they don’t have to wait for care.

This GivingTuesday, we hope you’ll join us in ensuring that more women find The Rose, more lives are saved, and more stories of hope begin.

Happy Birthday to Dr. Dixie Melillo!

Since co-founding The Rose, she has been a source of strength, comfort, and hope for so many women and families who have faced breast cancer. As one of the first women to complete the surgical residency program at UTMB - Galveston, she opened doors for others, but her greatest legacy is the compassion she brings to her work every single day.

Through The Rose, Dr. Dixie has made it possible for thousands of women to receive the care they deserve.

Wishing Dr. Dixie a beautiful birthday and a year filled with the same kindness, light, and love she gives to so many. 💕
