💧✨ What is a Cenote? ✨💧
A cenote is a natural freshwater sinkhole formed when limestone collapses to reveal underground rivers beneath the earth’s surface. Found throughout Mexico and parts of Central America, these crystal-clear pools were sacred to the ancient Maya, who believed cenotes were portals to the spiritual world — places of offering, prayer, ceremony, and deep connection to the divine.
For Indigenous communities, cenotes weren’t just water sources — they were life-giving, mystical spaces that symbolized rebirth, purification, and communion with nature. To enter a cenote was to enter something holy.
And this October 2026, during our Moon + Medicine Retreat in Tulum, we’ll have access to a private cenote right on our retreat property.
Yes. You read that right. 💫
A sacred freshwater sanctuary surrounded by jungle — available to us throughout our entire stay.
We’ll gather there for beautiful full moon rituals and intentional cleansing ceremonies… releasing what no longer serves and stepping forward lighter, clearer, and more aligned.
There is something profoundly powerful about standing in ancient water, under a luminous moon, surrounded by community. It’s not just a moment — it’s an imprint.
If you’ve been craving an experience that feels both grounding and transformational, this is it. 🌕🌿
Join us in Tulum for Moon + Medicine.
The cenote is waiting.
