This , Houston Music Therapy wants to recognize and celebrate members of the Hispanic community who have positively impacted their communities through music. José Longoria, the director of the University of Houston's Mariachi Pumas, is one such individual.

His impact on both students and the community have been so profound that he is being recognized by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, who is proclaiming today, July 19th, as "José Longoria Day." Congratulations Mr. Longoria!

We've found that a microphone suspended on a boom arm gives us the freedom to move the mic around and ensure consistent, high-quality sound during a variety of activities, including instrumental play and singing.
