Will be accompanying a physician on rounds, and working closely with patients.

MUST have active CMA license and license number as this is needed for credentialing in the hospital.

Specific duties in the hospital:

- will be arriving in the morning to start rounding on patients and documenting pertinent information provided on template

- will round with the physician and make suggested changes to treatment plan

- will call family for further information regarding patient

- will obtain information from the unit staff

- will dictate the note after rounds are complete

Specific duties in the clinic:

- will start patient intake process and document pertinent information

- will be present in the patient room during the interview

- will make changes to the treatment plan based on discussion with the physician

- call insurance companies to verify insurance coverage

- call pharmacy to verify medications
