Well, this is a first 😳
My spaghetti squash sprouted some seeds before I opened it.

After some googling it seems this can happen if it’s exposed to heat/humidity (hello Houston summer☀️) and since I left it out on the counter where sun hits I guess it got a little too hot.

FUN FACT: It’s edible!

It just may not be the best tasting spaghetti squash you’ve ever tried. I just tasted a sprout and it was super bitter 😫 so I don’t recommend eating those.

I opted to toss the squash after my bitter sprout tasting. Would you bake it?

I found it! The secret ingredient to fluffy baked eggs 🤗
GF baking mix! 💯
Add 1/4 cup to 6 eggs 🥚+
1/4-1/2c almond milk +
veggies 🫑🌶🥦🍅+
8oz cheese🧀 (dairy free —> ) +
meat 🐷🐮🦃(I added a clean sausage)

3️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ for ~20 min - check along the way. It’s finished when it’s browning on the top and set in the middle
I used an 8x8 glass pan coated with olive oil

Don’t freak out about amounts of veggies. Just chop what you have and drain excess liquid. My batter looked a little thick with all the veggies and it baked up fine 😁

To get the right quantities, taste! I try to go ⬇️on the juice and ⬆️on the water to keep sugar lower.

•1/2 mug unsweetened almond milk 🥛
•1T unsweetened, raw cacao powder
•splash of coconut milk (from a can) 🥥
•sweetener to taste: maple syrup, honey 🍯, maple sugar flakes, coconut syrup/nectar
•1t ashwagandha powder
•top with hot water
Blend with milk frother
Top with cinnamon

But seriously, lifting weights:
1. Increases your metabolism (muscle uses more calories at rest so even when you sit down, you’re still burning calories IF you have more muscle)
2. Is the biggest bang for your workout buck. Cardio is important but to see the fastest results with your body, pick up some weights 🏋🏻‍♂️
3. Helps protect your joints and bones as you age
4. Makes it possible for women to carry men 😎

Quick tips to meet your daily water goals!💦
1️⃣Fill your water bottle and drink it with your breakfast
2️⃣Keep a full water bottle on your nightstand and drink the whole thing first thing in the morning

Workout 9/9 looked like this:
😳I was tired after getting home from vacation
🧘🏻‍♀️I needed relaxing movement
❌I did not want to move a lot or stress my body
💖I found yoga with on YouTube and hit play for a 5 min yoga routine. Just 5 min. I didn’t try to make it a usual 20-30 min workout b/c I wasn’t feeling it and I know my body will crash if I push too hard (a lesson learned through 20 yrs of running, 6 yrs of triathlon and a short stint in crossfit)

Lesson: just move and then move on. Do not sit in thoughts of what you should’ve done. And know your limits.
