About Me
Hi, I created this blog because I am a Southern Belle, and I had to “remix” my life to make things easier for me. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroid Disease (an autoimmune thyroid disease) in 2013. I was a new mom and I knew that I wanted to be as healthy as possible for myself and my family. I began to notice that there was a correlation between the foods I ate and how I felt. I decided to eliminate the foods that made my condition worse. Now I am gluten and dairy free. I will share with you my gluten and dairy free recipes, as well as ways to recreate our favorite soul food dishes.
