Cornerstone Children Ministries (CCM) is a Non-Profit, Registered Non-Governmental Organization developed to provide abandoned and orphaned Ugandan children a loving and nurturing home in a Christ-centered environment. Our mission is to cultivate a strong foundation in our children through the love of God, a strong education, and a loving family unit so that they can blossom into having prosperous futures. Founded in 2013 by Kim Nobles, Cornerstone Children Ministries was born from the passion to give back by doing God's work to show His love for all the children in the world, especially the orphans. Our Non-Profit Status for donations in the United States is through the great church of Gateway and all donations are tax deductible now! At CCM, we are dedicated to the care and shelter of Ugandan orphans with ages ranging from newborn to adult. Our aim is to rescue, stabilize, nurture and educate as many orphans as possible. Our motivation is love. We see these kids as Uganda’s future leaders. Our core focus is provide love, shelter, and to raise up future leaders with a shared vision of positively transforming their communities and nations – as an outgrowth of their own personal transformation. In our character development curriculum we teach the timeless, universal principles like forgiveness, honesty, integrity, compassion, kindness, hard work, humility, and service to the less fortunate - as exemplified in the teachings of Jesus Christ, our mentor. It is our specific goal to prepare these children for an independent and responsible adult life in Uganda when they have graduated high school and to assist them in this transition to college or other furthering educational schools. However, we cannot do it alone. It takes the love and commitment of partners like you. We appreciate your support in any way that you feel led, be it through prayer or through monetary donations. Consider partnering with CCM and change the life of a child forever – here and for eternity. Through direct sponsor support, each child is provided food, clothing, housing, and medical care, along with schooling, Biblical and cultural lessons, and life skills lessons. In 2014, CCM obtained “non-government organization” (NGO) status with the Republic of Uganda. This designation allows us to steward our own vision in caring for orphans, and also upholds us to the highest standards of raising these children in our home. Also in 2014, we were able to purchase an acre of land for the new children's home to be built on. We now have a home and the construction is ongoing to expand to be able to help more orphans that need saving from the death of the streets. We have developed several projects over the years to help self/sustainability and have recently built a retaining wall to keep our children, home, and projects safe from looters and those meant to do us harm. If you want to help in any way, or have any questions or comments regarding the work of CCM, please don't hesitate to message us.
