Well with my injury, I'm in pre surgical pt. Its to help my quad function and stretching the helper and antagonist muscles. Im seeing some improvement in muscle function on my inner quad that was involved with the injury. The circled muscle, vastus medialis that was affected by the ACL rupture.

Update: I have ruptured my acl, I have an sports med surgeon appt who specializes in acl repair on the 30th. I start pt today.

With today's heat index please stay hydrated and add electrolytes. If possible stay inside and still hydrate. Avoiding strenuous activities that can cause you to overheat which can lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

Post surgery massage.
Yes massage can improve your healing, mobility and reduce pain. Only with your doctor's clearance for massage, usually at the start of PT. In some cases it could be more beneficial before the starting of physical therapy.
