And if you’re dealing with them on a regular basis, you’re just settling for feeling like 💩 every day…
You’re also setting yourself up for more chronic issues - like metabolic syndrome, thyroid issues, hormone imbalance, & anxiety and mood disorders.
Instead of ignoring the red flags until things get worse 🚩🚩🚩, we can make some pretty simple diet and lifestyle chances to keep blood sugar relatively stable (avoiding the big spikes and dips) all day long. And *hint* - none of them include eliminating all carbs and sugar 👇
6 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴:
✨Fiber first!
✨Eat a protein-rich breakfast (aim for 30g).
✨ No naked carbs - always pair carbs with protein, fat, and/or fiber.
✨ Avoid coffee on an empty stomach - coffee is not breakfast.
✨ Move your body for 5-10 minutes after meals - go for a walk, go up and down the stairs, do calf raises while sitting at your desk. ANY movement will help to prevent a post-meal blood sugar spike.
✨ if all else fails FAST 24 hours once or twice a week no more.
