We spend so much time helping our children learn to read, write, and succeed… but emotional skills are just as important.
Because a child who can recognise, express, and manage their feelings is building the foundation for relationships, resilience, and wellbeing for life.

Big emotions aren’t a problem to fix — they’re skills waiting to be taught.
And when we slow down, stay close, and guide rather than correct, we’re teaching something far more powerful than behaviour… we’re teaching emotional safety.

If your child struggles with big feelings, you’re not doing it wrong — they’re still learning, and they need you alongside them.

“Rhythym supports regulation…cadence and repetitive movement can help athletes settle their nervous systems.”

“Physical movement can help interrupt emotional spirals and bring your nervous system back into balance.”

Developed with trauma experts, Nike researchers, and hosted by Nike SB, “Your Brain on Sport” is a comic series that translates complex neuroscience into simple narratives that help athletes better understand stress, emotional regulation and well-being.

Research shows the relationship between you and your therapist matters more than any technique they use.

If you don’t feel safe, seen, or respected in that room, the work has nowhere to land.

You are allowed to ask questions before you commit. You are allowed to leave if something feels off. Trust is the whole foundation.

The right therapist will not make you feel judged or dismissed. You deserve someone who actually gets you.

If therapy hasn’t worked for you,
was it therapy that failed or
was it the wrong fit?

A little late, but still meaningful and worth sharing.
Meeting Nedra Glover Tawwab was truly inspirational. Her message about setting boundaries, honoring them, and releasing guilt around them is profound and deeply affirming. Grateful for the reminder that healthy boundaries are an act of self-respect, not being selfish.
