This is one of the most common things we hear — and it makes complete sense.

Understanding language and producing language are two completely different skills. A child can follow every direction, engage with everything around them, and still struggle to get words out. That gap is real — and it’s exactly what speech therapy is designed to address.

We are accepting new clients — and we have immediate openings! No waitlist. No “we’ll call you in a few months.” Just real availability, right now.

Here’s what we have open:
📅 Monday — morning and afternoon office spots + 1 travel spot available
📅 Tuesday — a full afternoon of office openings
📅 Wednesday — morning and afternoon office spots available
📅 Thursday — morning through afternoon office openings

And even more good news — Julia returns from maternity leave on May 4th (WE MISS YOU JULIA!), which will add both office and travel spots Monday through Thursday.

We’re in-network with most major insurance plans including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, MedCost and NC Medicaid, so getting started is more accessible than you might think.

We’re hosting free speech & language screenings at The Child Inspired. After the screening, families will receive verbal feedback and guidance on next steps. If a full evaluation is recommended, we’ll share helpful resources and options.
