Here’s the thing — up to 90% of ear pain isn’t from the ear at all.
It’s actually from your TMJ, the jaw joint right in front of your ear.

TMJ arthralgia can cause dull, aching ear pain, pressure, even popping — and antibiotics won’t fix it.

If your ear exam is normal but the pain keeps coming back, pay attention to:
👉 Jaw clenching
👉 Teeth grinding
👉 Chewing on one side
👉 Stress or poor posture

Sometimes, the problem isn’t your ear — it’s your jaw telling you to chill.
