I'm Betty

I'm Betty Betty Pettit suffered with Alzheimer's for 11+ years. Her family documented and shared her journey through social media. She passed away July 19th, 2024.

She became known and loved all over the world because of a viral video of her meeting herself in the mirror. My mother, Betty, suffered with Alzheimer's Disease for over 11 years. She was propelled to internet fame from a TikTok video I posted of her meeting herself in the mirror and showing such kindness. We continue to bring awareness to the disease and caregiving.

Did you know the early stages of certain conditions can be completely undetectable, lasting for years? Your brain works overtime to compensate, making you feel like everything is normal. It's only when we reach later stages, often after a diagnosis, that the full impact becomes clear.
