Hopefully everyone has been keeping an eye on bills and exploring the WV Legislature’s website after last week’s excellent walkthrough during our Participant Meeting Prep Session.

This week’s Prep Session for Recovery Advocacy Day 2026—Thursday, January 29 at noon on Zoom—will take a deeper look at both introduced and newly introduced bills that affect us as constituents and as members of the substance use disorder treatment, prevention, reentry, and lived‑experience community.

If you’ve identified a bill you want to highlight, bring the bill number to the meeting so we can discuss it together.

Join us as we prepare to advocate with clarity, confidence, and purpose. There is still time to register for Recovery Advocacy Day – click here to register.
