Well I just got the call of my life. My new lungs are ready and I am heading to the hospital soon. They will start around midnight for about 8 to 10 hours. We will keep y’all updated. Thanks for all the love and support. ❤️‍🩹🫁❤️🙏

Couldn’t have asked for a better treat anywhere. I got the long awaited call from the transplant coordinator that I am finally officially on the transplant list. Now just waiting for that one last call. Thanks to all of y’all sending prayers and encouragement. Love y’all…❤️‍🩹❤️

Well one day, 17 vials of blood, X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary testing and a VQ scan closer. Couldn’t have done it without my partner in crime Maria Hanna Whedbee. ❤️❤️‍🩹

As I get closer and closer to a transplant, I start thinking more about the donor of lungs. I think of the poor person who must die so that I may live. I think of the pain and sorrow the family will suffer through. I think the worst day in their lives will turn out to be the best in mine. Tomorrow’s another big day of testing for me at UMMC. Thanks to you all for your continued support and prayers. ❤️❤️‍🩹
