🌟 Big News! 🌟

I’m officially a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Clinician through MeaningfulSpeech.com! 🎉

This means I’m trained to understand and support children who are Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs) — kids who learn language in chunks or “scripts” rather than one word at a time.

✨ What does that mean?
Some kids don’t start with single words like “ball” or “go.”
Instead, they learn whole phrases first — things like “Let’s go outside!” or “It’s time for lunch!” — and later break those into smaller parts.

💬 You might have a GLP if your child:

Frequently repeats lines from favorite shows, movies, or songs 🎬

Uses long, memorized phrases instead of single words

Echoes what others say right after hearing it OR repeats something others said previously in the exact same way

Sings or hums familiar tunes 🎵

Says phrases that seem “out of context,” but really do have meaning (“Are you ready to go?” might mean they want to leave)

Starts mixing and matching parts of phrases over time (“Let’s go swing!” → “Go swing!” → “Swing!”)
