🩸 From Dialysis to Prevention 🌱
Today marks the beginning of a new season in my life.
After years serving as a dialysis nurse, I’ve stepped away from the hospital setting, but not from my calling.
Dialysis was more than a job; it was a family.
I had the privilege of caring for patients week after week, praying for them, and sharing hope in moments of pain.
Every glass of ice, every blanket I placed around a patient, was an act of love and service that changed me forever.
Through those years, I witnessed how many lives were impacted by preventable conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
That experience gave me a clear mission:
👉 To educate, prevent, and bring hope before people ever reach that dialysis chair.
Here in Huron, South Dakota, I’ll be offering in-person workshops and community talks on kidney health, diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle changes.
My goal is simple: to help our community understand that with knowledge, faith, and real healthy habits, change is possible. Your story doesn’t have to end in dialysis.
Together, we can build awareness, bring hope, and create a healthier Huron, one life at a time.
If your church, workplace, or community group would like to host a session or invite me to speak, please reach out.
