On Saturday, June 7th, the Thumb Livestock Jackpot Banner Bash partnered with sponsors to host 27 youth showmen for The Greatest Showman Swine Showmanship Clinic. Participants and attendees had the opportunity to listen to experts talk about skin and hair, show prep, feed and supplements, show attire, and got hands on showmanship practice with instructors. Participants walked away with a lot of knowledge and a bucket full of show supplies. It was great to see many participants put to use what they learned at the show on Sunday.

Premium Parking for the swine show has been marked, and I will try to have someone directing parking for premium buyers. Spaces are approximately 20ft wide by 50ft long. Please try to stay off the gravel so those who purchased spaces #9 and #10 can access their spaces easily.

It was caught today that an error was made when we input our entry prices into Showman App for PM Market Hogs. The cost is $30 per animal for all market animals, so some who pre-entered and paid may still have a balance at check-in. Cash is preferred, and late fees are waived for ALL entries in Showman App prior to midnight tonight.

If the error causes people not to wish to attend, I will issue refunds for the PM show only. The price is $30 for all market classes and needs to be charged as such to cover our show expenses.

An email has also been sent to all exhibitors that the price error may affect.

REMINDER: We are using declared weights for both lambs and pigs. We will have a self service digital scale on site Saturday for the clinic and Sunday prior to the show.

Sharing the fairgrounds with the Lavender Festival has some perks...FOOD TRUCKS. Here are a few of the food trucks that were starting to set up, more are coming. Wrist bands (free) to get into the Lavender Festival will be available at the registration area on Sunday.

The show tents and arena are set up and ready for you! If you haven't already, get those registrations into the Showman App site! There is still room in the swine showmanship clinic Saturday and for the show Sunday.

We have opened up two additional premium parking spots for the swine show. Spots 9 & 10, just south of the show tent are now available in the Showman App. These are pull in or back in spaces, as there is a fence to the east of the tent and these spaces.

There is no parking on the north side of the swine show tent. Pigs will be entering the arena from the north side and the show office will be located in this area.
