2022 already? I sure do miss teaching regular classes my dear friends. Normally I like to bless the New Year with 108 sun salutations with you. I’m not yet in a position to create a normal schedule for us to be together… but hope you are practicing. Honor the New Year… set your intentions .. and speak them out loud. Live your flow 108… sun salutes, chant om , set timer and meditate … start with the sacred number .. may 2022 be our most blessed year!

Dear students, friends, and family…

The doors of Dawn Patrol Yoga sadly must close until further notice.
My child is going through a very difficult time, and we have made a decision together that in patient psychiatric help is the course we need to take to get the help we need.
I want to devote all of my attention to supporting Vin/ Kiara, and to heal myself. As a parent right now I am struggling through very normal feelings of guilt, shame, inadequacy… like if I was a better mom my kid wouldn’t be suffering, right? I KNOW that is a lie… but that doesn’t stop the part of the brain that helps us to survive from chattering. I need the time, not to push those feelings down….and plan for and host yoga… but to acknowledge them, so that I can let them go, and help my child to overcome their traumas and pain. THIS is the power of yoga my dear students… so please keep practicing, and you can count on the fact that I will be. Hold space for my family please in your morning meditation. I will be back, but it’s time for me to turn inward. Thank you for your support.

I am really grateful for those that keep showing up for themselves every week at our humble studio. Fern Caribou, Sherry Hansen, Andrea Billings -Cano… never miss class!!’ We now have Adriel Brian Kitchens working his way into our Tues night mix! Olivia and Lupe keep coming back and have brought a breath of positive energy! Alison Marrie Hoover… despite some setbacks getting back into the groove. So proud of all of you… one breath at a time!!

Trying to find balance and setting healthy boundaries in all relationships can be difficult. It becomes much easier when we ourselves feel comfortable in our own skin.
