IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) targets sun damage, pigmentation, redness, and uneven tone by using controled pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin that specifically targets melanin and hemoglobin. The light energy is absorbed by unwanted pigment and broken capillaries, converting to heat and safely breaking them down without damaging the surrounding skin.

Over the following days to weeks, the targeted spots with darken, flake off and then fade.
