Please join us on December 1 as we celebrate the fight to end the HIV epidemic on World AIDS Day. We’ll be offering free HIV testing at the Infectious Disease Office located within the professional building at Community Hospital South. This free test only takes one minute to process, and is given by a trained HIV specialist. Our specialists will help you make a risk reduction plan as well. These tests are completely confidential and come with no judgement, just information on how to prevent HIV.

We encourage you to join our Ryan White Services team at Community in honoring individuals who have passed, as well as celebrating the progress made in combatting the virus. Remember that testing is prevention, and the earlier the diagnosis the better the outcome.

Testing hours are on December 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. within the professional building at Community Hospital South (1550 East County Line Road, Suite 205, Indianapolis, IN 46227) - the same entrance as the Surgery Center.

This Veterans Day, we’re sending a heartfelt thank you to all who have served our country. We’re proud to care for our veterans and to work alongside so many who continue to serve our community as caregivers. Our amazing volunteers made special hand-crafted blankets for our veteran patients, and AT&T Pioneers along with local Girl Scout Troop number 3257 provided treat bags for our caregivers who are veterans. Just a way to show our appreciation for everything you do—thank you for your service!

Pumpkin Contest Winners! 🎉
This year's No Carve Pumpkin Contest theme of Dr. Seuss had some tough competition from creative caregivers at Community Hospital South.

The votes are in and here are the winners:
🏆 Overall Winner: "Horton Hears a Who" by Pharmacy
🎨 Most Creative: "The Sneetches" by Employee Health
Pharmacy will claim the traveling trophy and the treat of a snack basket.
Employee Health will celebrate with a snack basket as well.

We’re so grateful for everyone who came by to safely drop off expired and unneeded medications! 💊 Thanks to your participation at our Drug Take Back event at Community Hospital South, we collected 82 pounds of meds. 🎉 By working together, we’re making our neighborhoods safer. Way to go, everyone! 🙌

The Fall Craft Fair is happening now at Community Hospital South. Come by the lobby and Education Center to discover a wonderful variety of hand-crafted goodies—jewelry, candles, woodworking, and more. We’ll be here until 3 p.m.

We’re excited to share that the Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center South expansion project is on schedule to wrap up in summer 2026! Even after facing challenges like the fire and water damage this May, our $60 million project is making great strides. The expansion will almost double the facility’s size to meet the growing demand for advanced cancer care. A huge thank you to Pepper Construction Group for their hard work and for sharing this amazing drone video of our progress!
