☀️ November Sun Salutation Challenge: The Practice of Tapas ☀️

This month, we’re embracing Tapas — the yogic principle of devotion, discipline, and showing up for yourself even when life feels tough.

Starting today, November 3rd, we’ll explore a new variation of Sun Salutation each week — pairing mindful movement with short moments of meditation and reflection.

Tapas isn’t about perfection.
It’s about tending the small, steady flame within — the one that reminds you to keep showing up with love, presence, and purpose.

🗓 Challenge Schedule:
• Nov 3–10: Sun Salutation A + 5 minutes of meditation
• Nov 11–20: Sun Salutation B + 10 minutes of meditation
• Nov 21–30: Sun Salutation C + 15 minutes of meditation

As we move deeper into fall, nature invites us to slow down — to rest, release, and prepare for the darker months ahead.

Rest isn’t just a pause from doing — it’s a vital process that allows the body and mind to heal.
🕯️ Research shows that intentional rest practices like restorative yoga and meditation lower cortisol (our stress hormone), support immune function, and improve sleep quality.
✨ Sound healing, too, has been found to slow brainwave activity, easing the body into deeper states of relaxation and balance.

When we rest, we don’t lose momentum — we restore our energy to move through life with greater ease and clarity.
