Once a month our Elkhart/St Joseph team gathers together for our Raise the Bar meeting. This time is a way to build community, deepen our skills and increase our knowledge, all in support of the work we do with our patients.

We started a recent meeting with a fun (and funny) get-to-know-you game called "Two Truths and a Lie". We then enjoyed having Brooke from Senior Outpatient Services talk to us about the offerings of their team to "Keep Older Adults Independent."

We're always grateful to gather together, have fun and learn something new that supports the work we do.

After walking with her mother through hospice care, volunteer Rebekah felt that familiar nudge to "give back."

When asked what she would say to someone considering volunteering with Paradigm, Rebekah responded, “If you want extra joy in your life, do it.” She encourages anyone with a little extra time and room in their heart to consider becoming a volunteer.

We are so grateful for Rebekah's time and energy that she give to our patients. We are glad it's a mutual blessing.
