❤️THE SECRET TO LASTING LOVE!❤️
❤️HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!❤️

Some may argue that Valentine’s is just another Hallmark holiday, but not us...

We’ve seen countless real-life love stories that rival the best Hollywood blockbusters or childhood fairy tales. And in a year with so many challenges, we think it is NEVER a bad idea to celebrate love!

We created a video for you celebrating the love of some of our most beloved married residents. Watch below as they share how long they have been together, how they met, and (best of all) what they believe has kept their marriages strong and healthy through the years.

One couple in this video has been married an incredible 75 years, and others are celebrating 40, 50 and 60 years or more. Our residents are walking testaments to the power of love and true commitment.!

Don’t miss Mary Ann and David (they appear around the 2 min 50-second mark). With just 5 months of marriage under their belt, they prove it truly is NEVER too late to find true love.

BELOVED RESIDENT WITH DEMENTIA IS A ROCKSTAR!!!

In November we shared about a resident, Elaine Lebar (from our community Keystone Place at Buzzards Bay) going viral on Tiktok with her near-perfect performance of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.

Well… there is an incredible update on this heart-warming story, and a dose of feel-good content to brighten your day!

Currently, the video has been viewed over 7.7 MILLION times!!! Proving that the magic of music truly transcends age - and even advanced dementia!

In this feel-good video, Elaine’s daughter Randi shares more of her beloved (and popular!) mother’s' life and music. You’ll also learn how Elaine’s dementia has brought Randi the gift of learning to fully embrace and live in this moment, and just how vital, talented and alive those with dementia continue to be.

As Randi says, “playing the piano is the place Elaine feels alive”.

Watch the below video and share it on your page to brighten the days of your family and friends. By doing so, this will help all those that live with the challenges of dementia by creating awareness about the possibilities of an enriching life beyond the diagnosis.

KEYSTONE RESIDENT GOES VIRAL ON TIKTOK!

We are so excited to share some big news from our sister community, Keystone Place at Buzzards Bay!

Buzzards Bay resident Elaine Lebar has recently gone viral on TikTok with her near-perfect performance of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.

The performance is all the more amazing when you consider that 92-year old Elaine lives with the challenges of advanced Dementia.

As shared by Storyful via an article on Yahoo:
“I did not anticipate that it would go viral but here we are,” Elaine’s daughter Randi said, “My mom, a professional musician, has significant dementia, but life makes sense to her at the piano.”

Despite claiming not to know the famous composition, Elaine launches into a near-perfect rendition - and this amazing video has landed over 5 million views in just three days!

COVID-19: THE REAL STORY - MUST WATCH

The news has been filled with tragic stories about the impacts of the coronavirus on Senior Living Communities across the United States…

But not all Senior Living Communities are created equally and what you’ve likely seen on the news is NOT the only story. In fact, at Keystone, it’s not the story at all!

At Keystone, we take our responsibility to our residents and staff very seriously.

Our residents are THRIVING. In fact, because of our rapid and comprehensive response, we have successfully kept COVID away.

With over 1500 residents spread amongst our 40+ communities, to date, there have been 2 positive cases and ZERO outbreaks!

AND we have made sure our residents are continuing to be happy, engaged, enjoying safe and socially distanced activities, all while living full and joyful lives and staying connected to loved ones.

We know there are seniors out there that need this kind of care and opportunity for joy in their lives.

We also know all the conflicting news stories may be causing people to delay the much-needed care and vital socialization available at Keystone Communities. Delaying care is never a smart choice.

Our doors are open and we are currently accepting new residents.

COVID - 19: KEYSTONE STYLE🤩💪

Even a global pandemic can’t keep our residents and staff from finding safe ways to celebrate and enjoy life!!

We created this video to share our joy with you and bring a smile to your face! This is our latest response to COVID, brought to you by our creative residents and staff.

Despite all of the changes resulting from Covid-19, our Keystone Family continues to weather the storm in style. We are adaptable, creative, and committed to making the most of every possibility for joy, connection, and vital socialization.

To date, in our combined Keystone Communities with over 1,500 residents, we have had only 2 COVID positive cases and ZERO outbreaks. We will continue to go above and beyond to meet and exceed all recommended protocols. The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff is always our highest priority.
