You can choose to join us in-person or virtually at a time that works best for you:

Monday — 1:00 PM EST (In-Person)
Tuesday — 3:00 PM EST (Virtual)

Mental Health America of Indiana is proud to share that Steve McCaffrey, President & CEO, was honored with the Joseph De Raismes III National Policy Award during the 2025 Mental Health America National Conference in Washington, D.C.

In accepting the award, McCaffrey remarked:
“I am honored and accept this national award on behalf of the MHAI Board and Staff as well as Indiana’s Legislators and Policymakers who have helped raise Indiana’s national ranking in Mental Health to 14th in the nation.”

This recognition celebrates MHAI’s ongoing policy leadership and collaboration with state and local partners to strengthen mental health systems and expand access to care across Indiana.

Nominations are Now Open! Tap the link in our bio to submit your Heroes for Recovery 2025!

Mental Health America of Indiana is so excited to announce that nominations are officially open for the 2025 Heroes for Recovery Awards!

These awards recognize individuals, teams, and organizations across Indiana who are making extraordinary contributions to the recovery journeys of Hoosiers living with mental health and addiction challenges.

Each nominee will receive a certificate of recognition, and selected Heroes will be honored at the Heroes for Recovery Luncheon during the Mental Health and Addiction Symposium on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Indianapolis Marriott East.

2025 Award Categories include:
Advocate of the Year
Behavioral Health Professional of the Year
Behavioral Health Team of the Year
Recovery Network Peer Run Organization of the Year
ICAADA Recovery Coach of the Year
INARR Recovery Residence of the Year

You may nominate multiple individuals or groups, but please submit a separate form for each nomination. Nominations will be accepted until November 1, 2025.
