A special shout out goes to our very own Rachelle King for DSP Appreciation Week. Rachelle has been with Dungarvin for 19 years this October, and we would be lost without her! Thank you, Rachelle, for your amazing work ethic, positive attitude, and caring heart.

For DSP Appreciation Week, Dungarvin Indiana, LLC. recently celebrated with an employee picnic. Today, they would also like to shine a spotlight on one out of the many of their fabulous DSPs:

She is described as a DSP with a team-player attitude, and as someone you can always depend on. She constantly goes the extra mile for the people she supports. This is why we wanted to honor Rachelle King from Indianapolis for DSP Appreciation Week.

This is not a job for Rachelle, but a lifestyle. Rachelle goes above and beyond for the individuals she serves; whether it is by covering an extra shift, running to an appointment, or going grocery shopping, Rachelle always steps up to the job. “She may be rough but she is fair,” said the individuals at her main house. Rachelle is outstanding due to the fact that she’s been with us 19 years and her passion for the job has not wavered one bit. If there is an emergency at the house Rachelle will tell you, “Hold on, I’m coming, I’m 12 minutes away.”

Thank you Rachelle for all that you do! We are truly lucky to have you!

Check out the photos from last week's 40th Anniversary Luncheon! We had the best time celebrating with everyone. Thank you for making Dungarvin what it is today.

Dungarvin celebrated its 40th Anniversary on September 7, 2017. Guests took a step back in time to 1976 to celebrate 40 years of inspiring work. Everyone celebrated with dancing, delicious food, and amazing company of course. Thanks to everyone for attending and celebrating with us!

Only ONE WEEK left until our 40th Anniversary Celebration! We are very excited to celebrate with all our individuals and employees.

The group at Traders Point Creamery had a wonderful time yesterday! It was the perfect summer day for walking around the farm, seeing cows and baby chicks, and talking with friends. At the end of our tour, we got to sample their chocolate milk and boy was it delicious!

Thanks for the fun day, Traders Point Creamery, we'll be back soon!

When we went to Traders Point Creamery for the first time last year everyone had a blast! The group loved touring the farm to see animals, learning about milking cows, and eating ice cream. We are even more excited to come back again this year and experience it all again!

Join us tomorrow at Traders Point Creamery at 11 am for a fun day at the farm!

It's no secret that we love putt-putt here at Dungarvin! Join us for our next fun activity on Tuesday the 17th at Pirates Cove Adventure Golf on 96th St. We will be meeting at 4 pm and golfing until 6 pm. We'll see ya there!

We loved our time down at the Indiana State Fair yesterday! Everyone had fun trying different foods, petting the farm animals, riding rides, and just walking around! With 35 attendees, this was our biggest year yet at the State Fair.

Meet Devin! One of his goals for the summer is to go on a community outing once a week with his recreational therapist. This week, the duo went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art to play putt-putt where Devin got his first hole-in-one! Looks like a fun time; keep up the great work!
