You know you’re autistic and married when…

✨You have guilt from the times you flipped out on your partner

✨You have communicated your sensory needs like emergency protocol

✨Your intimacy might drastically decline in burnout or when overstimulated

✨You have a hard time articulating exactly what you mean

✨Your partner knows the look that indicates you are over th edge

✨Your rejection sensitivity creates family drama from time to time

🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Autism is neurodevelopmental and it exists on a spectrum.

Adults with autism may present a variety of symptoms, everyone is unique. The best way to know is to ask.

Some people do not fit the outward ‘characteristics’ associated with autism. There isn’t one look. Body language can be conflicting.

If someone is autistic, there is a higher chance they might also have ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning differences, and other chronic health conditions.

Listen when someone tells you they are autistic and ask what that means for them.

If they don’t know themselves, open the conversation in privacy and with honesty. Don’t sugar coat it.

People on the spectrum often have social difficulties, sensory sensitivities, communication challenges, and more complex needs for emotional regulation.

Autism is a neurological difference and largely an internal personal experience. From the outside, this might look like social difficulties, sensory sensitivity, and difficulty with emotional regulation.

Autistic adults feel lost for years, decades, often before getting answers.

People are not diagnosing themselves off social media, and it sucks to see people share vulnerable experiences only to be attacked.

Don’t worry. You can’t shut me up, and I cannot stop talking 🙊

✅ A coaching consultation is always free along with any referrals or recommendations discussed. LMK when you’re free. 💚💚💚

Make yourself comfortable.

So many new friends are here.

I will finish sending out links and reply to your comments tomorrow! Notes are also a little slow. I slipped on the ice and my wrist is still sore. 🫠

You feel alone so you live your life searching. You’re surrounded by people and deeply disconnected from them.

Your mind is a busy place and you cannot begin to verbally explain your thoughts or worries.

Then you learn you’re autistic and you have adhd. You realize that your body wasn’t breaking down, stimming was saving your life.

I’m so grateful for everyone in the autism and adhd awareness spaces. While I’ve focused on women in some posts, I know all neurodivergent adults need better support. It’s important you know that you are not alone.

I’m grateful to have over 24 thousand followers and hit millions of views each month on Instagram. This is impact.

I want to give a special shout out to a handful of my first Instagram friends and fellow creators. Thank you for being the first to show me some love in this community, engage in some way and welcome me when I needed the support.

There are countless people ready for your offer; you just have not met them yet.

Your friends and family aren’t it.

New connections are waiting for you.

Comment “SIMPLE” for my simple Instagram strategy ✨

Consistency looks different when you’re neurodivergent. Make sure you show up where it matters most.

This resource will always be available to you when you need a reminder of the basics to fall back on when you are creating content authentically.

‼️ FREE ADVICE: Now, you can use 5 hashtags at a time on Instagram. Still continue to think of indexing.

‼️ Start with huge categories (in the millions) and narrow down to your niche. I have had success using as one of my 5.

Another practice to still consider is using the same set of hashtags repeatedly. Good luck!!

You feel stuck and your brain is dead.

You don’t feel yourself. Your memory is whack.

You’re losing it.

It’s not what you think though.

If you’re neurodivergent, you are at a higher risk of severe burnout that can last months.

More demands only intensify your decline.

Skill regression is common.

Self-blame and uncertainty cloud your mind.

It’s really not your fault. It never was.

You’re going to get out of it.

This is for you. A download cost helps compensate me for my time spent raising awareness of autism and ADHD.
