2025 stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

I walked away from situations I once tried to make work.
I released opportunities that looked good on paper but didn’t feel aligned in my body. I grieved friendships, family relationships, and versions of myself I had to let go of.

There were tears.
There was loss.

And there was also an awakening.

I became clearer about my boundaries.
I chose peace over proving.
I reclaimed a sense of power that comes from honoring myself-fully.

This isn’t about leaving a year behind.
It’s about integrating what it taught me.

As I step into 2026. I’m doing so with intention, regulation, and trust in my own pace.

Leaving 2025. Stepping into 2026.

Yesterday reminded me why showing up matters even when turnout is low.

The weather was rough.
My regulars weren’t there.
I was preparing to pack up.

Then a woman walked in who works in healthcare. She shared that she has several children, works in a high-stress environment, and didn’t know exactly what to expect she just knew she needed quiet.

I extended the session beyond the scheduled time.
And at the end, she was emotional not from overwhelm, but from gratitude.

She shared that it was the first 30 minutes of uninterrupted rest she’d had in a long time.

To those who spend their lives caring for others you deserve moments of stillness too.
