Tom is a lifelong musician whose heart has always belonged to the guitar. He first fell in love with music around the age of eight, inspired by his grandfather, who always had a guitar nearby and played in a band himself. That early influence sparked a passion that would shape Tom’s life.​
​
Over the years, Tom played everything from rock-and-roll to country, performing with friends, playing in bands, and entertaining crowds in bars and clubs. His music even took him as far as Las Vegas and into studios in Nashville. One of the bands he played with was known as The Circus, and they performed around downtown Indianapolis.​
​
Music has always been more than a hobby for Tom; it’s been his joy, his outlet, and his connection to others. To this day, his love for the guitar remains a defining part of who he is.

From an early age, Lance knew he was called to serve. “I just wanted to be a cop all my life,” he once said, a simple statement that reveals a lifetime of purpose. That calling guided his path and shaped the man he would become.​

​Lance proudly served his country in the US Army, where he developed discipline, teamwork, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. After his military service, he continued his commitment to public safety as a correctional officer. In that role, he found meaningful ways to protect others, uphold order, and serve his community with integrity. He admired strong examples of leadership in law enforcement, including Steven “Judy” Gable, whom he regarded as the finest officer he knew.​

A devoted father and grandfather, Lance values honesty, structure, and respect. His life stands as a testament to service, accountability, and a deep belief in doing what is right.

What a day of laughter and joy at Rosegate Village. Our amazing residents and staff came together to create some unforgettable April Fools' Day memories that had everyone in stitches.

Our beloved maintenance man Lenny became the star of the show when our creative residents orchestrated the perfect harmless prank! The joy and laughter that filled our halls were absolutely priceless. Seeing our residents' faces light up with pure delight reminded us why these special moments matter so much.

The fun didn't stop there! We also decided to give our bathroom signs a hilarious makeover by featuring photos of our DNS and ED as part of our foolish festivities. 🚻

The bond between our residents and staff shines brightest during these playful times, creating memories that will be talked about for months to come! 💫

Yesterday brought pure joy and excitement as the Easter bunny hopped by for a very special visit. Our wonderful residents, dedicated staff, and loving families all came together to create unforgettable memories with our fluffy friend.

The smiles were endless and the laughter was contagious as everyone enjoyed quality time with the Easter bunny. These precious moments remind us why community connections and shared celebrations are so important to us.

There's nothing quite like seeing the happiness that special visits like these bring to our residents and their loved ones. Thank you to everyone who made this Easter celebration truly spectacular! 🌷
