Congratulations Melissa Bell, Memory Care Support Specialist, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Melissa became an LPN after her grandmother was a resident at an ASC facility. She was inspired to help, especially in memory care. To her, becoming a nurse was more than just resident care, it was to provide care to families. Melissa started at Rosegate in 2009 as an LPN and was later promoted to Memory Care Support Specialist. She has been a strong heartbeat to our memory care unit for over 15 years.

Melissa is always advocating for the best quality of life for residents. She encourages and motivates staff to grow professionally and personally and is a team player. She makes cake pops on her own time for residents to help reduce weight loss, personalizes shirts and crafts, and decorates resident rooms and doors.

As part of the staff morale committee, Melissa uses her creativity to facilitate events and theme days. She was nominated by many peers and staff members for this award, with one peer saying, “Melissa shows CARE values every day. She consistently goes out of her way to make people’s lives better.”

Melissa is married with one grown daughter who recently made her a grandmother! She enjoys crafting, making t-shirts, and being creative.

Melissa said, “Feeling like I make a difference to residents, families and staff is what is most important to me. I want my residents to know I care, the families to feel secure, and the staff to feel supported and encouraged.”

Congratulations, Melissa, on this well-deserved recognition.

🍩 What a sweet way to celebrate National Donut Day at Rosegate Village! Today we spread joy by handing out delicious donuts and special staff pens to our amazing team members.

There's nothing quite like bringing everyone together over these glazed circles of happiness! Our staff deserves all the sweetness for their incredible hard work and dedication.

At Rosegate Village we believe in celebrating the little moments that make work feel special. Whether it's a classic glazed, chocolate frosted, or sprinkled delight, today was all about sharing smiles and creating memories with our wonderful team! 🎉

Congratulations to all of the winners of our annual pumpkin decorating contest. #1 overall was Tuaren our housekeeping supervisor, most creative was Autumn Fatout our Social Services Director and most challenging was Tara McGlothlin our executive director. A big thank you to everyone who participated in voting and to those who entered the contest. We hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Rosegate celebrated our annual Trunk or Treat!

It was a spook-tacular success! We loved seeing all of your amazing costumes. Our residents passed out goody bags while families enjoyed creative trunks from Pacers to Aliens to Mickey Mouse and more! Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and made this Halloween extra special for our community and residents. We can’t wait to see you next year! Happy Halloween 👻🧡🍬

Our residents had a wonderful time assisting with our annual Trunk or Treat event! They enjoyed handing out treats, seeing all the creative trunks, and especially meeting all the kids in their adorable costumes. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make this a night full of laughter, smiles, and community spirit! 🍬
