Winter Training Session

Adult Mental Health First Aid is a
2.5-Hour Self-Paced, 5-Hour, Virtual
C.E.-accredited, industry-recognized training to help individuals recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges or crises. This nationally recognized, evidence-based program equips participants with practical tools to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma responses, substance use challenges, or emotional distress. LLIM delivers MHFA through a culturally relevant, trauma-informed lens tailored to diverse communities, schools, organizations, and leadership teams. Participants learn how to approach, listen, reassure, and connect individuals to appropriate support using the ALGEE action plan. This course empowers family members, co-workers, supervisors, and community leaders to build mental health literacy and strengthen early intervention. MHFA improves workplace culture, reduces stigma, and supports safer environments for all. With an emphasis on prevention and skill-building, this training strengthens the behavioral health workforce and equips participants with life-saving confidence and real-world crisis response tools.
