Every call is different....and SIM-IA training reflects that.

This week, Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Service worked through two intense simulation scenarios:
🔥 A burn victim with a partial amputation
❄️ A snowmobile crash patient who goes into cardiac arrest before EMS can reach the scene

These realistic, hands-on experiences prepare emergency crews to think fast, work together, and deliver critical care when seconds matter.

Simulation plays an essential role in preparing EMS providers in smaller communities. SIM-IA recently provided basic life support training for the Grand Mound Vol. Fire Dept. through adult and newborn cardiac arrest scenarios.

When a pediatric allergic reaction becomes respiratory arrest, slides won’t save lives - muscle memory will.

On Thursday, SIM-IA brought our mobile simulation lab to the Norwalk Fire Department, swapping the classroom for realistic, hands-on training. For departments with sporadic schedules, getting everyone in one room can be tough. By coming to them, we make essential EMS skills accessible to everyone….full-time or part-time.

No more boring lectures, only confidence-building training that saves lives. 🧡
