I encountered a man with a sign that read, 'Veteran I am hungry,' on the street. I stopped and provided him with groceries and some money. Someone drove by and said, 'He does that every day, it's a scam.' I replied that he likely needs assistance daily, or else he wouldn't be begging. People often judge hastily, forgetting that life's challenges can affect anyone. We can choose kindness. Try seeking help daily, and you'll understand how those who beg on the streets feel.
