Most of us are often preoccupied by the "unknown", and this causes anxiety. A routine creates predictability which alleviates anxiety.
Action of any kind, often jumpstarts motivation. Healthy routines help break our "stuck loops".
Doing the same tasks everyday at the same time makes us more likely to stick to them.
By creating routine, we are most likely to institute and adopt healthy habits.
