Simply touching fentanyl cannot cause an overdose.

Let's continue focusing on facts, instead of fear. When sticking to the facts, people who are responding to an opioid overdose are more likely to follow through with the encounter, rather than being too scared to act.

When someone is overdosing and the individual responding to this overdose is frightened for their own safety - this can be dangerous for the person experiencing an opioid overdose as the response is either slower or doesn't occur at all. What we can provide when responding to an overdose is rescue breathing and Narcan - which Red Project gives out for free!

Try to never walk away from an overdose. Unless you directly snort, ingest, or inject fentanyl you're going to be unaffected. Even the fentanyl dermal patches for skin take hours to start working (up to 24 hours), and they're specially formulated for that task.

Don't let misinformation cost someone their life. As someone who’s held the power of Narcan in my hands, I've seen it - how a single moment, a single choice, can mean the difference between life and death. If you’re ever in the face of an overdose, don’t hesitate. Call 911. Stay there. Act. Because if it were your life hanging in the balance, you’d want someone to do the same.

It’s worth it. It’s always worth it.

A free EDC parade on the Las Vegas Strip has officially been approved by Clark County 🎇

For the first time ever, a FREE World Party Parade is taking over the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday, May 14 at 6PM to kick off EDC weekend and celebrate 30 years of the festival. This brand-new experience is open to the public and designed to bring the energy of EDC straight to the heart of Vegas.

Expect around 15 floats, stacked with performers, entertainers, and marching bands, moving down the Strip in a full-scale celebration. The parade will begin near the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, travel along Las Vegas Blvd, loop near Resorts World, and head back — lasting about 2.5 hours with an estimated 30,000 attendees. Think confetti, music, dancing, and all the vibes you’d expect from EDC, just outside the festival gates.

After the parade, the celebration continues back at the Festival Grounds with a special post-parade experience. This isn’t a “Day 4” of EDC — it’s a completely separate, family-friendly event with its own identity, setting the tone for a massive weekend ahead.

With 200+ performances happening at EDC from May 15–17, Vegas is going all out for the 30-year anniversary. This is one you don’t want to miss 🔥

Did you know that naloxone can freeze in single-digit temperatures? 🥶🧊

While it’s still safe and effective once thawed, every second matters during an opioid overdose.

Carry naloxone in your purse or bag instead of leaving it in your car until the weather warms up.

Drug checking only works if the conditions are safe enough for you to focus and interpret the result. Announcing your test and stepping out of the crowd reduces pressure, contamination, and rushed decisions. Give the strip or reagent its full time—those last seconds can change everything.

Staying hydrated keeps your body stable, your heart rate safer, and your night way less chaotic. Especially in high-heat or stimulant-heavy environments, dehydration ramps up overdose and medical risk fast. Keep water on you, sip consistently, and take breaks—your body will thank you.

Grogs Gnarly Guide! Sunburn hits way harder than any set. Reapply your sunscreen every 2 hours—especially at day festivals—so you can stay safe, cool, and glowing without the blister aftermath. Harm reduction includes protecting your skin, too.

Even Grog knows a dead phone can turn a great night chaotic fast. Keeping your device charged means you can find your crew, call for help if something goes sideways, and navigate the environment safely. A portable charger isn’t just convenience—it’s part of staying connected, grounded, and protected in high-stim settings.
