𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

NelsonHPS is 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 the successful completion of the replacement of three existing sections of 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦-𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝟏𝟐𝐊𝐕) 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 at the East Campus Switch Station in La Jolla.

This critical infrastructure upgrade was completed through 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, allowing the remaining sections of the switchgear to stay fully operational throughout the project.

𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑆𝑐𝑜𝑝𝑒 𝐼𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑑:
🔸 Selective demolition
🔸 Replacement of metal louvers + installation of a new exterior roof ladder
🔸 New roofing system, flashings & improved roof drainage
🔸 Fresh interior & exterior paint + new resilient flooring
🔸 A newly built bathroom
🔸 Remedial waterproofing at utility vault conduit penetrations

It was incredible how many staff members, significant others, and their families from grandparents to teens to babies attended! It was a great time to spend time together!

NelsonHPS is 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐃 to announce the successful completion of a new healthcare project for 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐚, 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨, 𝐂𝐀!

This critical upgrade at the 𝐔𝐂𝐒𝐃 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 included:

🔧 Replacing an undersized decontamination sink with new adjustable-height, three-basin sinks

💧 Installing a de-ionized water system for final instrument rinse

🧼 Adding a wall-mounted handwashing sink with an eye wash station, improving safety and compliance

🚮 Relocating Neptune Docking/Discharge Stations to the soiled utility room

🛠️ Replacing one Ultrasonic Washer and all related plumbing and electrical systems

🧱 Installing new flooring and performing wall repairs and painting
