Jumping into Sensory!
Jumping provides sensory input of proprioception and vestibular input assisting with:
•body awareness
•joint compression
•balance
•movement
•sensory regulation and more!
Jumping gives a rhythmic, receptive movement which can provide a more calming, soothing reaction for some those who need heavy movement, OR can be alerting and stimulating for those who need more arousal! Movement with a Purpose!!!
-Don’t have a trampoline at home. Here are some other alternatives to get similar sensory output! Couch cushions, mattresses, sitting on a ball bouncing
😁Happy jumping! 😁

✨ Swinging into Sensory Integration ✨
Suspended swings aren’t just fun—they’re powerful tools for sensory integration. 🌀
From gentle linear movement to rotary input, different swings provide the vestibular and proprioceptive input the nervous system craves. This movement helps support:
• Body awareness
• Postural control
• Emotional regulation
• Attention and motor planning
Whether it’s a platform swing for grounding, a cocoon swing for calming deep pressure, or a rotational swing for alerting input, we’re meeting each child exactly where their sensory system needs support.
Movement with purpose. Play with intention. 💛

❄️🥶Too cold?? No worries!!!🥶❄️

Did you know we provide clinic based treatment as well! Through our diverse treatment approaches, we are able to continue our sessions even through the extremely cold and hot days! On these bad weather days we continue to provide movement through the use of various suspension equipment, a rock climbing wall, trampoline and much more! This allows us to continue working on the skills no matter what the thermometer says! 🥶

Don’t let the cold stop you! Come and check us out or contact us today for more information!

🎃More sensory fun!🎃

Here are some more sensory exploration ideas that are Halloween themed! Sensory exploration uses your five senses (sight, smell, sound, taste and touch) to learn your environment around you! Each of these has different textures, scents, sounds, and even taste! These activities also incorporate the use of fine motor and visual motor skills!

1. Shaving cream: Use your hands to explore any hidden objects that can be hiding throughout. You can also use a spray bottle to wash the shaving cream off the items for extra strengthening and endurance
2. Jell-o: Use a spoon or your hands to explore various objects in the Jell-o. You can also work on strengthening by using your fingers to push the objects in. If possible, you can even eat the Jell-o to involve your taste sense and self-feeding skills!
3. Sensory box: Fill a box with various textures with hard, soft, fuzzy, squishy items. You can hide different items in the box just like the paper next to it so you can find them hidden in the box and match them up!
-to make it harder you can use tongs/tweezers and spoons to pick up objects as well in each box! Have fun!💀👻🎃
