Did you know we provide clinic based treatment as well! Through our diverse treatment approaches, we are able to continue our sessions even through the extremely cold and hot days! On these bad weather days we continue to provide movement through the use of various suspension equipment, a rock climbing wall, trampoline and much more! This allows us to continue working on the skills no matter what the thermometer says! ๐Ÿฅถ

Donโ€™t let the cold stop you! Come and check us out or contact us today for more information!

๐ŸŽƒMore sensory fun!๐ŸŽƒ

Here are some more sensory exploration ideas that are Halloween themed! Sensory exploration uses your five senses (sight, smell, sound, taste and touch) to learn your environment around you! Each of these has different textures, scents, sounds, and even taste! These activities also incorporate the use of fine motor and visual motor skills!

1. Shaving cream: Use your hands to explore any hidden objects that can be hiding throughout. You can also use a spray bottle to wash the shaving cream off the items for extra strengthening and endurance
2. Jell-o: Use a spoon or your hands to explore various objects in the Jell-o. You can also work on strengthening by using your fingers to push the objects in. If possible, you can even eat the Jell-o to involve your taste sense and self-feeding skills!
3. Sensory box: Fill a box with various textures with hard, soft, fuzzy, squishy items. You can hide different items in the box just like the paper next to it so you can find them hidden in the box and match them up!
-to make it harder you can use tongs/tweezers and spoons to pick up objects as well in each box! Have fun!๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ‘ป๐ŸŽƒ

๐Ÿ”จ๐ŸŽจ OT Fun in the Clinic! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ”จ

This week, weโ€™re working on pincer grasp and bilateral coordination in a super creative way! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Kids use wooden shapes and tiny nails to hammer their own pictures into a cork boardโ€”either by copying a design (boosting those visual-spatial skills ๐Ÿ‘€) or making their own masterpiece! ๐ŸŒŸ

This hands-on activity is not only fun, but also helps strengthen fine motor skills in a structured, supportive clinic setting. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’›

We love turning therapeutic goals into play-based fun! ๐Ÿงฉ

๐ŸŒŸ Clinic-Based Therapy in Action! ๐ŸŒŸ
Did you know we offer clinic-based treatment that engages kids in fun, purposeful movement?
Our sessions utilize a variety of suspended equipment, like this flexion swing, to:
โœ… Strengthen the core
โœ… Promote bilateral coordination
โœ… Enhance sensory processing
โœ… Improve eye-hand coordination
โœ… Support motor planning
In this simple yet powerful activity, children toss a bean bag into a barrel while swinging โ€” turning play into progress.
At our clinic, movement IS therapy โ€” and every swing, throw, and smile brings growth!

Hands up if you love OT!!!!๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ

In this picture, we are working on postural stability, strengthening and endurance! By putting our hands in different areas around your body it challenges us to maintain balance on the horse. We can increase the challenge by walking around the therapy area while our hands are not stabilized on the horse!
