Ithaca Doula Collective A collective of independent doulas serving the Ithaca and surrounding area with evidence-based, non-judgemental support during various family transitions.

We are a collective of independent doulas serving the Ithaca and surrounding regions with evidence-based, non-judgmental support for a range of support services that can include one or more of the following: birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, perinatal loss, abortion, miscarriage, adoption and/or other family transitions. We commit to the Collective and wider community through active participation,

with individual, ongoing professional development, common code of ethics, mentorship, regular meetings, participating outreach and education, and by providing accurate and up-to-date information about our services and availability.

Are you committed to expanding doula support and access in Tompkins County? Are you interested in becoming a birth doula to work with families during pregnancy and through the early weeks after birth?

Apply today for a FREE training with on May 1-3, 2026. This is a 3-day training from 9am - 6pm that will be held in downtown Ithaca.

Individuals who come from diverse backgrounds and are committed to serving low-income and underserved communities are especially encouraged to apply. Tompkins County residents preferred.
