This table is so helpful!

There is secure attachment and 3 types of insecure attachment. It is important to identify which type of insecure attachment we tend to fall under, see where this stems from (childhood, past relationships, trauma, etc.) so we can work on finding healing and lean more into secure attachment in our relationships.

❤️PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT❤️ You can help our moms get the professional counseling they need for post-partum depression and anxiety!

These ladies right here care about moms AFTER birth as well as before! These are our lovely post-partum class teachers. On the left is Micah Loyd, LPC/MHSP, PMH-C, and on the right is Ann Bone, who is also a Client Advocate. They meet with our ESTHER program participants before they give birth so they will have the tools they need to navigate fluctuating postpartum hormones.

But Micah, who is certified in perinatal care, takes it a step further and provides professional counseling for our program participants who struggle with severe post-partum depression or anxiety. Many of our clients cannot access professional counseling for a variety of reasons, so Micah is making room in her schedule for our clients who are unable to receive counseling care elsewhere.

Birth Choice is making an account available for donors who may wish to contribute specifically to young women who are experiencing severe post-partum anxiety or depression. Excited to do this training this week and start the process of getting certified in perinatal mental health 💛
I have met with so many women that struggle with mood disorders during/after pregnancy. I’m ready to get more tools and resources to meet their needs in this!
