Our World AIDS Day event was a truly successful and inspiring day for the community. It was wonderful to see our staff, families, and citizens come together in support, reflection, and empowerment.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible HIPS team, our dedicated vendors, and everyone who showed up to stand with those living with and affected by HIV. Your support, energy, and compassion made this event meaningful and impactful.

Together, we continue to raise awareness, provide resources, and strengthen our commitment to health, hope, and community. ❤️🧡

The Jackson-Hinds Community Health Center team was onsite on Saturday November 15th, for the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative ( ALCSI ) event, held at the Mississippi Trade Mart Center from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm. Our awesome nursing staff, along with the Medical Mobile Unit, provided free glucose testing and valuable health education to community members.
We were proud to engage with attendees, answer questions, and share resources that support long-term wellness.
We are always grateful for the opportunity to serve and to promote healthier lives throughout the community. A big THANK YOU to Dr. Justin Turner, MD, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and the ALCSI for inviting us, organizing such an excellent event, and continuing to champion health and wellness across Mississippi.
