🌟 Health Hero Spotlight 🌟

This week, we’re honored to recognize Phyllis Bettis, RN, MSN as a local Health Hero!

Phyllis is a retired nurse administrator and educator who continues to make an incredible impact on health and wellness in our community. Even in retirement, she dedicates her time to wellness programs, patient education, and helping individuals and families understand preventative care.

With an extensive background in mental health and occupational nursing, Phyllis has assisted community members in finding mental health resources and recently served as a clinic nurse for a local Indian Tribe, where patient education was a critical part of her role. Living in a rural area, she understands firsthand the challenges that come with limited access to care and works tirelessly to bridge those gaps.

💙 “Caring is the core of nursing,” Phyllis says and she lives that truth every day.

Her passion reminds us that maintaining wellness in rural communities is essential so our residents can thrive and enjoy the highest possible quality of life.

We’re honored to recognize Ashley Arnold, owner of The Caterpillar’s Closet – a “thrift shop with a purpose,” as one of our Community Health Heroes 💙

Ashley reminds us that health and wellness don’t always look like a workout or a doctor’s visit. Sometimes, it’s a listening ear, a meaningful conversation, or even sharing a cup of coffee. Her goal is simple but powerful: to make people feel heard, seen, and valued.

With a deep calling to help others, Ashley believes her shop was part of God’s plan long before she ever imagined it. Through The Caterpillar’s Closet, she brings people together from all walks of life creating a space rooted in collaboration, celebration, and unity. The daily connections formed within her shop are a testament to the impact compassion can have on community health.

🌟 Dr. Boucher is known for demonstrating strong composure under pressure. He has the ability to help the team feel supported & at ease, regardless of the intensity of the Emergency Department. He consistently maintains a calm demeanor & excels in every aspect of his role as a physician.

💬 When not at the hospital, Dr. Boucher enjoys traveling with his best friend and wife - Mary.
