It's official. our hearts are warm and full.

As of today April 1, 2026, we are taking a huge step forward. Today we join hands with Otterbein SeniorLlife and become Otterbein Jackson.

We are truly excited to join a team so aligned with who we are and what we believe. Together we look forward to continuing growth, serving and creating even more moments of joy for our residents, families and our staff.

Together we will be the best place to live, to work, for care and for a fulling future.

New season, new dinners.

Michigan spring is tricky, never being too sure when the snow will end, so we planted inside the greenhouse yesterday. Now is the time to get this season's plants started.

Together with the continued support of Grow Jackson we give back to the city of Jackson. Did you know that last year the residents and volunteers grew over 90 pounds of produce to give back?

Ninety pounds doesn't sound like a lot, until you learn that over half of that was very lightweight and very nutrient rich leafy greens.

Here we grow again!

The famous Jackson Westwood Mall Hippo has been spotted all over town—but the time has come to trade in the adventures for a little well-earned relaxation.

We’re excited to announce… he’s officially “retiring” at Vista Grande Villa! 🏡💛

After all that roaming, he’s ready for:
🌿 Awesome surroundings
🍽️ Great food
👫 Friendly faces
😌 And a well-deserved splash pond.

If you see him around, be sure to give him a warm welcome to his new home!
